Machine Tool
The Machine Tools Division manufactures highly sophisticated PLC and CNC Super finishing Machine Tools such as Honing, lapping, Super finishing and Polishing, etc, This division has been awarded twice out of five, at the prestigious IMTEX Exhibitions held between 1998 for outstanding exhibits.
Arihant is one of the major recognised player in the area of Super finishing. A decade and half ago such kind of machine tools were imported but now Arihant products are well received by the manufactures of Automobiles, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Tool Rooms in Private sector such as L&T, Godrej, Voltas, Birla Yamaha, Usha Telehoist, etc. as well as by the Defence, Nuclear Fuel Complex, Bharat Dynamics Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, etc.in public sector.
The key for achieving this status is the efforts put by Arihant Research and Development and Strict Quality Control. Over 400 machines are in operations in India and they are also exported to Dubai, Indonesia, Australia. |

| Horizontal Honing Machine We provide our honing machines in the models ARIHONE 75 HM and 75 HX. The 75HM model is provided with a manual honing cycle that needs an operator to load the job on the tool and press the pedal. The honing tool is rotated with the same process reciprocated to achieve the desired outcome.
The 75 HX model is a fully automatic machine that requires the operator to load the component on the fixture, press the pedal and wait till the honing cycle is completed at the end of predetermined time set on timer or achievement of the size.

| Vertical Honing Machine We provide Vertical Honing machine in Model ARIHONE 35VA, 50VA, 100VA, 150VA & 300 VA. The honing cycle is fully automatic. The operator has to clamp the component on the fixture and press the cycle start button. The honing tool rotates, reciprocates and expands and operation cycle stop after present time. Different types and grits of stones are used depending upon the material removal & surface finish requirement. This operation improves geometrical accuracies like taper, ovality and roundness and improves the surface finish by removing tool chatter marks thereby increasing bearing contact area.
Our vertical honing machines are used for honing heavy components such as:

| Super Finishing Machines ARISUP 50 LT Single Head (SH) is used for superfinising. The attachment can be mounted on a lathe. During superfinishing operation, the component rotates, superfinishing stone oscillates parallel to the axis of the component at a very high frequency generated b pneumatic power unit.

| Lapping Machine Arihnats’ Horizontal Lapping Machine model ARILAP 5o BT is a hand lapping machine for fine finishing of cylindrical components like fuel injection equipments, hydraulic valves, pneumatic valves, rotary pump barrels, bushes, bearings, lubrication system components etc.
